Apple Will Be Releasing 3 New IPhones This Year Here’s Everything You Need To Know

On top of making high-end consumer hardware including iPhones, iPads, and more, Apple also makes a series of system on a chip (SoC). These SoCs are designed to be used in Apple's own consumer hardware products and it mainly uses ARM architecture. In addition to the new Mac computers, a variety of different Apple products including the iPhones, iPads, Apple TV, Apple Watch, and more, use Apple silicon. There's a lot to unpack when it comes to Apple silicon, so we decided to create a dedicated hub to present everything that you need to know about Apple silicon.

Apple is expected to update the M-series with a new set of "M2" chips later this year. While there's not a lot we know about these chips yet, we do know that they'll be powering the next generation of MacBook Air and the smaller 13-inch MacBook Pro notebooks. We'll have more to talk about the performance and specs of the M2 once it goes official. In the meantime, be sure to check out our review of the 24-inch iMac and the 16-inch MacBook Pro notebooks to know more about the performance of the M1 and the M1 Max chips, respectively. You can also head over to our Apple Mac Studio page to know more about Apple's new desktop computer that is powered by the new M1 Ultra processor.

Surprising? No. Exciting? Absolutely. After a grand introduction by at the Apple event on September 10, 2019, the iPhone 11 is finally here. We may have known nearly everything about this new iOS device ahead of time, thanks to the usual surge of reliable leaks and rumors.

Apple doesn't get specific about its improvements to Face ID this year, but those improvements are here. All we know for sure is that Face ID is "faster," and "easier to use," but most importantly, it works at multiple angles now.

"iPhone 13 could push 5G to roughly 250 million customers," Ives said. "Most consumers update their phones every three years so if you didn't get a 5G phone last year, there's a greater chance you will this product cycle. This puts 5G in the hands of a lot of consumers, who will want to make the most of the technology. We believe the iPhone 'supercycle,' which includes other devices and services, will translate into a $3 trillion market cap for Apple in 2022."

The original iPhone came out in January 2007 (though the UK launch was towards the end of that year) with some launches taking place in June and even October after that. But since the iPhone 5, things have settled in the September slot. The exception to this was in 2020, when the delay to the iPhone 12 lineup was caused by the global slowdown in production due to the pandemic. The iPhone 13 series returned to normal and as we now know, the iPhone 14 launch will be slightly earlier than the launch 12 months ago.

The most recent update for your iPhone is finally here and you're going to want to know everything there is to know about what's new with iOS 11. As of Wednesday, you can download the software update to your current iPhone or iPad. But if you plan on getting the iPhone 8, which comes out this week, or the iPhone X, which comes out later this year, it will already be preinstalled. It will likely look and feel a lot better on the newer devices, but that doesn't mean you have to miss out on the new operating system just because you're not upgrading your phone.

Unfortunately, there's not a lot of solid information floating about at the moment, but we've had a bit of a dig and here's everything you need to know about it so far in one helpful place. Aww, aren't we nice?

If you're part of the media and were lucky enough to be invited, this year's Keynote will be taking place from the Steve Jobs Theatre. For everyone else, you can watch online right here on September 12th. 2ff7e9595c
